Our Boats & Gear

We have boats from 16ft to 23ft and even up to 50ft for the biggest groups.  We can accommodate any sized group.

Our newest addition, the 2008 220 Ocean Pro is the perfect fishing vessel.  With a sealed cabin for all weather situations and a Wallas heater for winter fishing, it truly is a comfortable ride.  A spacious fishing deck is also a great feature.  Lots of room outside to run the lines and fight your trophy fish.

The 200 Hp Yamaha four stroke will get you to the fish and the 9.9 high thrust Yamaha will make for a quiet, smooth day of trolling.

It is rigged with the latest electronics to help put you on the fish

The JRC radar will make sure you have a safe adventure even in low visibility days and our Lowrance Gps/fishfinder will keep you on track for your journey and help locate the fish.  Also, a Uniden Vhf radio will keep us in touch with other boats and is another safety feature.

Scotty electric downriggers help get the lures down to the fish and keep them in the strike zone.  And our planer boards will help spread the lines out when fishing with numerous lines.

All in all, the boat is rigged for a comfortable day of fishing.

The Hewescraft Sea Runner

This 2006 220 Sea Runner is another perfect fishing vessel.  Similar to the Ocean Pro, with a sealed cabin and heated for all weather situations.  A spacious fishing deck out back is also a great feature.

The 150 Hp Yamaha four stroke will get you to the fishing grounds, and the 9.9hp Honda will make for a quiet, peaceful day of trolling.

She is rigged with the latest in electronics to help keep you safe and keep you on the fish.

Planer boards for spreading out the lines, Scotty electric down riggers for getting you down to the fish, and top of the line rods & reels to help you with landing your trophy fish.

Our Hewescraft boats are very popular for either our freshwater fishing or ocean fishing.  Great to have the Hewescraft team aboard

2012_12300031The Reinell

Some people would tell you that some boats catch fish and some boats don’t.

Our third boat is a 23ft Reinell that has caught more 20 plus pound fish than almost any other boat on the lake.  It is also one of the most comfortable boats for all weather fishing.

And for those reasons, I can not seem to be able to retire this boat.

This boat has been on Kootenay lake for over 30 years and seems to know the lake better than its operators.

Loaded up with a Toyo heater, Scotty electric downriggers, planer boards,  Lowrance Sonar/GPS unit, and Uniden VHF radio, she is well equipped for any and all weather conditions.

She has a 350 Chev inboard engine to get you to the fishing grounds.  Also an 8hp Yamaha outboard for quiet operation during trolling.

Close the door on the heated cabin and you can will be comfortable all day long.

The ideal Kootenay Lake boat !!

jetsled3The Jetsled

This 2006 18ft Jet sled made by G3 is the ultimate river fishing boat.

The powerful jet outboard lets us get to spots most people won’t go.  And the fishing deck is spacious.  With a casting platform on the front and the back, there are a lot of options for fishing with this boat.

Whether we’re drifting the river with 2 fly fishers or anchored and casting with 2 or 3 spin casters, there are loads of opportunities.  She is rigged up with a Yamaha 90/65 outboard jet, as well as an 80Lb bow mount Minkota motor to help hold us in the prime fishing spot.  A Hummingbird sonar will help locate structure and fish, and the Garmin gps will take us back to the hotspots.  Lots of fun to be had with this great boat.

Whether it’s the 16 – 18 ft boats for the river or the 22 & 23 ft boats for the lake, we can get you out fishing in a comfortable ride.

Let’s go fishing………………..
