Our handy packlist will help you get ready for a day fishing the rivers of the Kootenays
- Optional: If you’re an avid fly fisherman, make sure to bring your favourite rods & reels
- Suitable Clothing: most summer days on the river might be a bit cool in the morning, but usually quite hot in the afternoon. So, be sure to dress in layers. Maybe a pair of shorts under a pair of pants, long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt, and rain gear if needed.
- Early Spring or Late Fall River Trips: we recommend bringing your waders to help keep warm and allow us to jump out of the boat to fish if we like.
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Packed lunch: try to place all lunches and drinks in one mid size cooler to help avoid taking up space on the boat
- Fishing license: freshwater license available at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca
